A National Dialogue on Forging Strong Linkages between Local Agriculture Producers and Buyers “Inclusive of Women and Youth”. will open at the Goodwill Parish Hall today Wednesday, November 09, 2022, from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm.
The National Dialogue is designed to motivate market actors in Dominica to provide more opportunities for the participation of local producers inclusive of women and youth in the selected agricultural market systems.
WUSC Caribbean (Dominica) Inc. as part of the Canada- funded Sustainable Agriculture in the Caribbean (SAC) project is hosting this National Dialogue, which will feature presentations by Dunstan Demille, Perishables Manager at Massy Saint Lucia, and Jade Hutchinson, Technical Lead at Guru Saint Lucia as they share experiences and lessons learnt on the inclusive market systems implemented in Saint Lucia.
WUSC Caribbean (Dominica) is implementing a five-year project – the Sustainable Agriculture in the Caribbean (SAC) project, with funding from Global Affairs Canada, which will promote climate-resilient agriculture for equitable economic growth to increase the economic prosperity of women and youth (female & male) in more sustainable agricultural markets.
