Waitukubuli Dance Theatre Company takes moves to Antigua

The Waitukubuli Dance Theatre Company of Dominica has joined the dance Companies of five other regional countries in the International Folk Dance and  Music festival 2019 taking place in Antigua this week.

Chief cultural Officer Raymond Lawrence tells Kairi News Dominica was able to put on a spectacular performance so far.

Lawrence says the main performances will take place on Thursday Friday and Saturday. But he says Dominica has already staged two performances to rave reviews from attendees.

Lawrence says the organizers of the event are hoping that it can become an annual event and if it does, it will mean more exposure for Dominica’s talent.

Mr. Lawrence thanked the private sector and the Government of Dominica for assistance to participate in the dance festival.
