Dominica’s Government expects to see an improvement in bilateral relations with the United States with the inauguration of a new US Government.
Ambassador of Dominica to the US Vince Henderson told Kairi’s Heng last week, that while relations with the US have been relatively stable, the countries have had disagreements.
Henderson said Dominica’s presence at the inauguration of Joe Biden as US President on January 20 was a show of solidarity with Biden’s administration.
Henderson says while Dominica expects to align its vision for climate change and climate action with the Biden Administration in coming years, material assistance from the US is not likely.
