Vaccine Hesitancy Remains High Among State College Students
Vaccine hesitancy remains high among State College students, with just about 13 percent of them vaccinated.
The college’s president Dr. Donald Peters says resuming face-to-face classes will rely on a higher vaccination rate at the campus.
Dr. Peters, who’s the government’s ambassador at Large-for-Education, says putting systems in place for virtual classes at the DSC has been challenging.
He expects the board can review the status of their readiness before the end of this semester to determine the next course of action.
