Two insect pests are affecting plants in Dominica

The Ministry of Agriculture is sounding the alarm about two insect pests affecting plants in Dominica.

Acting Head of the Plant Protection and Quarantine Unit, Nelson Laville says several horticultural and forest plants are being affected.

He says the Division is attempting to bring the SCALE and CROTON insects under control.

Lovers of the croton plant are also being told to look out for the croton scale.
