The recent travel advisory issued by the US Embassy for Dominica could be reviewed to consider Dominica’s successes in the management of the Coronavirus Pandemic.
That’s according to the Dominica Association of Industry and Commerce (DAIC) who held a meeting with the United States Embassy in Barbados.
On August 6, a travel advisory was issued by the US for Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean to include Dominica.
For Dominica, the level three “Reconsider Travel” advisory stated “health and safety measures and COVID-related conditions”, as well as civil unrest as the reasons for its warning.
President of the DAIC Kenneth Green says due to a successful meeting with the Embassy, the advisory may be reconsidered.
