Three Candidates Nominated To Contest The Grand Bay By-Election
Two candidates are coming up against Labour Party’s Dr Vince Henderson to contest the Grand Bay by-election later this month.
Nomination Day took place yesterday. Candidates had to present themselves between 9 am to 4 p.m., each accompanied by six witnesses.
That seat became vacant following the death of the Grand Bay member of parliament Edward Registe and the candidate will now be in a by-election on November 25th for that parliamentary position.
The chief elections officer Ian Michael Anthony says three candidates are confirmed for contesting that seat.
