The Ministry of Education in collaboration with UNICEF and Israel Forum for International Humanitarian Aid (Israid) launched the Safe Schools Emergency Preparedness Programme TODAY, Monday.
The programme was launched the Goodwill Parish Hall. The Disaster Preparedness will ensure that the country’s education system is prepared for disaster both on local and national level.
Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education Chandler Hyacinth has highlighted the need of building resilience in the education sector.
Meantime, UNICEF Education Manager Unai Sacona said that changes will the education system is needed in order to fight against climate change.
