The Debt Portfolio Review is a comprehensive review of Government’s debts.
Government is increasing its financial accountability and transparency through the establishment of a Debt Portfolio Review.
The Debt Portfolio Review, which was tabled in Dominica’s Parliament in December 2020, is a comprehensive review of Government’s debts.
Financial Secretary within the Ministry of Finance Denise Edwards says all citizens can access the document to gain an understanding of Government’s debt procurement and payment.
She was speaking on Anou Palay on Sunday.
Edwards highlighted another document published on Government’s website for citizen review: The Draft Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Property Bill of 2020.
She says the Procurement Bill has been reviewed by the World Bank, the Caribbean Development Bank, the European Union and the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank.
