SMA and Jolly’s Pharmacy – Agro Business Cooperative
The Saint Mary’s Academy in collaboration with Jolly’s Pharmacy has launched their first Agro Business Cooperative.
The business is dubbed the Saint Mary’s Academy Food Cooperative Project.
The cooperative was launched TODAY, Friday at the Prevost Cinemall.
It will be made up of 25 students of the Agriculture and Business classes of the Saint Mary’s Academy.
Head of Public Health at Jolly’s Pharmacy Carlton Lanquedoc says the project will run for a period of two years where students will be expected to cultivate a variety of crops.
The students in the cooperative will be required to register at a fee of XCD$ 5.00 where the funds will be deposited into the cooperative account.
