Six young ladies to vie for the prestigious title of Miss Wobb 2018
Six beautiful young ladies will vie for the prestigious title of Miss Wobb Dominica when they take to the stage later tonight (October 24th) in various rounds of the Miss Wobb Competition at the Old Mill Cultural center in Canefield.
The Miss Wobb is one of the main highlights of Dominica’s independence celebrations each year and this reunion year the show promises to be spectacular as Dominica celebrate 40 years of independence this year.
Chief Cultural Officer Raymond Lawrence is urging as many Dominicans as possible to support the show.
Meantime, Mr. Lawrence has expressed deep satisfaction with the turnout and outcome of Heritage day 2018 as the focus was on the town of Ports this weekend beginning with festival Dwivey creole in the north and market day with a difference.
The Cultural Division has come in for high praise for heritage day.
