Six institutions benefits $12,000 worth of Agricultural supplies
Six institutions here have been the beneficiaries of $12,000 worth of Agricultural supplies, from a World Bank Funded Agriculture Project.
The Agriculture Restoration project is being rolled out through the Ministry of Agriculture.
Speaking at the handover ceremony of supplies this morning, Permanent Secretary within the Ministry of Agriculture Dr. Kyra Paul said the initiative is also aimed at providing food security for Dominica and decreasing the food import bill.
Dr. Paul stressed the importance of introducing young students to Agriculture.

The recipients were: The Roosevelt Douglas, St. Luke and Kaleb John Laurent Primary Schools, the Center where Adolescence Learn To Love And Serve (CALLS) Centre, the Kalinago Barana Aute and the Ministry of Environment.
