Six Dominican Women Recognised for their hard work and contributions
The Bureau of Gender affairs on Monday recognized the work of six women in Dominica.
Dr. Taura Breedy, Dr. Gilda Nesty-Tonge, Nurse Theresa Andrew, Nurse Cathlyn Newton and Nurse Rosemund Nicholas and Inspector Valda Powell were all recognized for their contribution in the fight against Covid 19.
Acting Secretary to the Cabinet, Careen Prevost highlighted the work of several women leading the charge against the pandemic and making an impact in public life.
