Senior Council Anthony Astaphan has debunked rumours that a number of employees at his family’s business are ill with the CoronaVirus.
Astaphan confirmed that an employee at Astaphan’s, the family- owned supercenter in Roseau, was quarantined out of precaution as she is related to Dominica’s latest Coronavirus case.
He says two other employees have been asked by Management to be quarantined, but no member of staff has tested positive for the virus.
Astaphan believes these rumours were fabricated by the United Worker’s Party.
He asked the public to reject the rumours as fake news
