A top hotel property here has been named the number one Resort Hotel in the Caribbean, Bermuda and the Bahamas in Travel and Leisure’s 2020 World’s Best Awards.
The Secret Bay was also named the number six best Hotel in the World on Travel and Leisure’s “Top 100” list.
The hotel said, in a press release, its six-star, all-villa rainforest resort has grown internationally renowned for its remote setting, hyper-personalised service and transformative experiences.
Hotel owner Gregor Nassief said he was excited to see that Travel and Leisure readers are, once again, taking notice of his under-the-radar, luxury hideaway.
Nassief said the hotel is providing guests with an experience that allows them to reconnect with nature, themselves and the ones they love.
He said given the disruptive time that the travel industry is now in, the acknowledgment is a reminder that travel inspires and lifts people, and is a testament to his team’s commitment to delivering truly exceptional experiences.
