Dominica’s Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit has defended his Government’s decision to keep schools open as the Coronavirus threatens.
At a COVID-19 press briefing Thursday, Prime Minister Skerrit said there are implications to closing schools including the ability of families to afford care for children at home.
He says, however, schools will be shut down if the need arises.
