Roseau North MP Applauds New School Project in Her Constituency.
Parliamentary Representative for the Roseau North Constituency Miriam Blanchard, applauds the efforts of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Dominica on the implementation of a project for the construction of a new primary school and resource center.
A ground-breaking ceremony was held Sunday in the presence of church officials and government representatives.
Blanchard says the SDA church’s efforts are in line with governments commitment to ensuring sound education for the children of this country and promised every support for such a project.
She added that this project in the Roseau North Constituency is evidence that such an effort will strengthen their determination of becoming a leader in primary education.
Blanchard emphasized government’s determination to build more resilient structures with improved and designated codes to ensure the country’s ability to withstand future climatic shocks.
She also expressed satisfaction that this new structure is designed, equipped with a resource center to facilitate the community at large.

According to Church Officials this New School Building Project is estimated to be completed over the next three years.
