Public Servants to receive early salaries in preparations to combat COVID-19
Good news for public officers as Government announced on Monday that March salaries would be paid one week early, today March 24.
The news comes on the heels of announcements that Dominica had recorded its first two cases of COVID-19.
Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit said on Sunday citizens should stock up on basic supplies as the COVID-19 threat increases.
An earlier injection of cash is expected to assist public servants prepare in case the virus advances and citizens are asked to remain indoors.
