Prominent Agricultural Research Needed After Hurricane Maria

Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture Dr. Reginald Thomas has highlighted the need for greater agricultural research post Hurricane Maria. 

He said that further research in the  fishing sector could seek to decrease residents dependency on the marine sources. 

Dr. Thomas was speaking at the national consultation this week.

Meantime, Dr. Thomas said that the agricultural sector suffered XCD$ 709 million dollars’ worth of damages.
