Prime Minister Skerrit responds to public concern over time window for returning nationals to present negative COVID19 tests
Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit says he awaits word from Dominica’s Ministry of Health on an extension of the time window for returning nationals to present negative COVID-19 tests.
Public concern over the 72- hour window has persisted, with citizens arguing that the period is too short, and calling for an extension to five or seven days.
The Prime Minister reminded that extensions increase the risk of infection for the Coronavirus.
Meantime, the Prime Minister revealed that some returning nationals have faced issues with paying for quarantine services.
