Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit is dismissing the notion of total lockdown in the near future due to the ongoing pandemic.
New variants of the coronavirus have been emerging across the globe however the Prime minister says total lockdown must be avoided at all costs.
The prime minister says it is up to all Dominicans to take the necessary precautions to protect themselves and the country.
