Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit has urged Marigot constituents to put party colours aside and vote in the interest of development.
Mr. Skerrit addressed the launch of Gregory Riviere in Marigot on Sunday. Skerrit urged to voters to exercise their option to elect an effective representative.
“Be wise in 2020… Get registered,” he said. “Put partisan affiliations aside and join the campaign of Gregory Riviere, so that at long last, the constituency of Marigot will benefit from high- quality parliamentary representation”.
This comes in light of comments from Ian Douglas, DLP MP for the Portsmouth constituency, who told reporters last Friday, that Dominica’s political demographic is changing from party- centred to candidate- centred consideration.
