Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit to participate in meeting to decide LIAT’s fate
Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit will later today join his fellow LIAT shareholders to discuss the fate of the regional air carrier.
Antigua Prime Minister Gaston Browne announced at the weekend, that the shareholder Prime Ministers have agreed to meet at 5 p.m today following previous failed attempts to engage with Barbados Prime Minister Mia Mottley on the matter.
Prime Minister Skerrit told his Anou Palay programme on Sunday, he expects the meeting to bring clarity to the LIAT matter.
The Antigua Prime Minister Gaston Browne told his own radio programme on Saturday, if the talks fail, his country will move to take defensive action to protect LIAT.
