Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit Reshuffles Cabinet Ministers
Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit has announced a reshuffling of the Cabinet Ministers as of Thursday April 12th, 2018.
He says this decision will assist in fostering greater synergy as the country works on being more climate resilient. Skerrit made these remarks during his address to the nation on Tuesday night.
The Prime Minister gave details on the recent reshuffling of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Meantime, Skerrit said recently resigned member of the Opposition Party Joseph Issac will form part of the New Cabinet of Ministers.
Issac will serve as the Minister for Environment Climate Resilience Disaster Management and Urban Renewal.
In addition, Skerrit announced the formation of the new Ministry of Ecclesiastical Affairs which will be headed by Catherine Daniel.
Skerrit also announced that he will take up the portfolio of Housing while senior minister Reginald Austrie will serve as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister Agriculture.
