Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit has endorsed the recent decision taken by Parliamentary Representative for the Roseau Central Constituency Joseph Isaac in terminating his relationship with the United Workers Party which he served for several years.
Isaac on Wednesday issued a surprise statement to the media after his failed attempts to get the executive of the UWP to have a change of heart in the manner it approaches issues of national importance and development as presented by the ruling DLP administration,.
Isaac’s out of frustration has led him to end his relationship with the UWP and issue a bold statement on April 4th pledging his support to the current DLP administration in areas that matter to national development.
Mr. Skerrit says he is heartened by the tone and tenor of Mr. Isaac.
The Prime minister will hold a meeting with Mr. Isaac to discuss the way forward in the interest of Dominica development.
