Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit defends his decision to keep Dominica’s borders open
Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit has defended a decision to keep the country’s borders open over the past days.
His comments come in light of criticisms that Dominica should have restricted travel into the island to protect against the spread of the COVID-19 here.
Mr. Skerrit says his first concern was for Dominicans who may have been stranded abroad.
