Police on Wednesday confirmed investigation are ongoing into a matter of fraud at the Labour Division.
Ag. Chief of Police Lincoln Corbette revealed that investigations are also ongoing into a matter of fraud at the Treasury.
Public officers, he said, are assisting with the investigation.
Corbette says over 1 million dollars was recovered at an establishment in Terre Plat, leading to an investigation into money laundering.
