PM Skerrit warns of possible new COVID19 cases when Dominica reopens borders
Dominica’s Prime Minister says there is a possibility the island could see new cases of COVID-19 when the country reopens its ports to international traffic.
Speaking on Kairi’s Heng on Monday, Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit underlined costs associated with the COVID-19 Pandemic in Dominica.
He stressed that the response to COVID-19 here is a national responsibility and said Government is prepared to make additional funds available through the Dominica Social Security to support families, if the pandemic persists.
