PM Skerrit to meet with tourism stakeholders to discuss recommendations to resume tourism activity

Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit will meet with tourism stakeholders this week to discuss matters related to the reopening of the country’s borders to foreign travel.
Mr. Skerrit addressed concerns about the risks associated with travel during the COVID-19 pandemic on Sunday’s Anou Palay Programme.
The Prime Minister said he will discuss new recommendations received following a meeting with the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) last week.
Mr. Skerrit revealed that discussions are also ongoing with cruise lines to resume activity in the cruise sector.
