PM Accuses Opposition of Conducting Campaign of Confusion

Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit has accused the Opposition United Workers Party of conducting a campaign of confusion.

This week, United Workers Party Lennox Linton said the party would pursue a course of action to force Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit to account for what he says are ‘missing CBI Funds.’

Prime Minister Skerrit told a DLP meeting in Bagatelle on Thursday the UWP was intent on causing chaos in the country. He said the Opposition has embarked on a strategy “of confused and confusion”.

According to Mr. Skerrit, the opposition aims to confuse citizens through “…their fuzzy maths, their misleading analysis, their wild assumptions, their baseless claims, their manufactured indignation”.

He claims they aim to cause confusion concerning Dominica’s Citizenship by Investment Programme and the upcoming General Elections.
