Over 75 Million Dollars To Be Invested In The Digital Economy

The government intends on spending in excess of 75 million dollars to provide job opportunities for the youth in the digital economy.

Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit says part of the country’s transformation into a modern society is being done through a digital transformation project.

Mr. Skerrit said youth who have received digital skills training can look forward to paid internship programs. Government also plans to assist those with business ideas focused on digital innovation.

Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit was at the time addressing the Independence Day ceremony.
