Over 200 million owed to the state in upaid taxes

The state is owed over 200 million in unpaid taxes and the Finance Minister wants citizens to pay up.

Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit told a press conference on Friday, against this background, officials from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will visit Dominica and make recommendations to improve the current Income Tax Regime.

Mr. Skerrit says the outstanding amount hinders Government’s ability to care for its citizens.
