Opposition Leader open to debate with Prime Minister-Senior Counsel says, Not a Chance!

Opposition Leader Lennox Linton says he is accepting a challenge from Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit to participate in a national debate ahead of upcoming general elections.

 

But in a prompt response, advisor to the Prime Minister Senior Counsel Anthony Astaphan says there is NO chance of a debate between the two party leaders.

 

Linton was referring to statement from Prime Minister Skerrit at the launching of Dominica Labour Party Candidate Greta Roberts this past Sunday.

 

Linton said on radio on Wednesday he was keen to debate the Prime Minister.

 

Opposition Leader and Leader of the United Workers Party Lennox Linton.

 

But in a quick response, advisor to the Prime Minister Senior Council Anthony Astaphan rubbished the idea of a debate between the two.

 

He told Kairi News no challenge was issued to Linton.
