Online Learning continues for Dominican students

The Ministry of Education resumes its online learning initiative today as the country continues to observe a State of Public Health Emergency due to the COVID 19 Pandemic.

This means that students are to remain home and learning continues through online platforms and with activity sheets, which will be provided to students.

Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education Chandler Hyacinth says online instruction will be done mainly via Google Classroom.

The Ministry says that for students with no access to internet or devices, work sheets and activity packages will be prepared.

Arrangements will be made at each school for collection of these activity packs, and the Ministry is seeking the support of principals, teachers and parents in this regard.

The Ministry has advised that a firm decision on the application of the Grade Six National Assessment will be taken soon.
