National Special Olympics Team Ready for Berlin Germany Games.

National Director of Special Olympics, Dominica Ainsworth Irish says the team is in a high training mode as they prepare for the games coming up in Berlin, Germany later this year.

He says the team will be looking to build on the successes which they have had in previous events and will surely be looking to build on that success.

According to Mr. Irish the Dominica Special Olympics team participated in the 2015 World Games in Los Angeles California where they won a number of Gold Medals as well as Bronze; in 2019 ten athletes represented in Abu Dhabi and they are preparing for the games coming up in June, Berlin Germany.

He says the athletes as well as the officials who will be attending the games have been identified and they are now in the process of organizing funding for the trip for which he is hoping that the necessary assistance will be forthcoming.
