The Ministry of Tourism has rejected statements that Government intends to do away with the Safe in Nature programme.
The DHTA expressed concern last week that the programme would be discontinued and place several properties at risk of closure.
Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism Lisa Valmond explains that Government’s review was in response to new concerns about the implementation of protocols at properties.
According to Valmond suggestions that Government intended to shut down properties were malicious and false.
