Ministry Of Health Calls On Travelers To Know Their Vaccination Type Before Travelling
The Ministry of Health has called on outbound travelers to make it their duty to know what type of vaccine is administered and approved by the country they intend to enter before leaving the island.
Questions have been raised by the public as to why the Ministry of Health is not advising travelers on what type of vaccines they should take before leaving for a particular country.
Reports are that some persons who left the island for a particular country were sent back by authorities as they did not meet the accepted vaccine requirements.
Public Relations Officer at the Covid Vaccination Unit Sheena HARRY told a special vaccination program on KairiFM on Monday night, individuals should conduct their own research on travel requirements of their desired destinations.
Meanwhile Harry is urging persons to go to all type three health centers on island to take the vaccines in an effort to stem the spread of the virus.
