Ministry of Education moving ahead with plans to reopen schools on September 7

The Ministry of Education is moving ahead with plans to reopen schools islandwide on September 7.

Speaking on Education in Action on Thursday, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education Chandler Hyacinth said the Ministry will make adjustments to its plan in case of community spread of COVID-19.

Hyacinth said the Ministry is taking its lead from the Ministry of Health.

Hyacinth said it is advisable that children return to face to face learning.
