Minister For Gender Affairs To Finalize Approval Of National Gender Policy
Minister for Gender Affairs, Dr. Adis King, says she is working collaboratively with the Bureau of Gender Affairs to finalize and ensure the approval of the National gender Policy.
Speaking at a panel discussion at the Goodwill Parish Hall Thursday as part of activities to mark International Women’s Day 2022, Dr. King said her ministry is also moving closer to the adoption of the Child justice Bills which are expected to respond more appropriately to current societal trends.
She says the rights of women children’s and families in Dominica will be better protected following the implementation of these bills.
