The Ministry of Education will take a step-by step approach to the reopening of school in light of a resurgence of COVID-19 here.
That’s the word from Education Minister Octavia Alfred, a guest on Sunday’s edition of Anou Palay.
The Ministry announced last week that schools would reopen on September 1 for teachers and on September 7 for students. Since then, Dominica has recorded two active cases of COVID-19.
Alfred says while Government continues to monitor the potential spread of the virus, plans for the reopening of school remain in place.
