MP for the Mahaut Constituency Rayburn Blackmoore has called on organizers of events to cancel events for the next two weeks, as Dominica has seen an increase in Coronavirus cases.
Speaking on Kairi FM, Blackmoore confirmed that cases were found in Mahaut and Jimmit, villages in his constituency.
While revealing that the Virus’ latest victims here are in high spirits, he called on his constituents to cooperate with contact tracing efforts of the Ministry of Health.
Blackmoore said two event organizers in Mahaut, who had scheduled events for Friday and Tuesday, agreed to call off events.
He urged event organizers around the country to cancel events for the next two weeks.
