His Lordship Gabriel Malziare commends the efforts of the Prime Minister

Bishop of Roseau His Lordship Gabriel Malziare has commended the efforts of Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit and his cabinet for their approach toward the reconstruction of the island following hurricane Maria and has pledged the support of the Catholic Church in the Build back Better Dominica initiative.

Bishop Malzaire was speaking at the National Reconstruction consultation on making Dominica the first climate resilient country in the world.

He says there are many more people in other countries affected by the effects of climate change and it’s left to us on how we approach these issues.

The Bishop says it’s a two-pronged approached require a high level of discipline on the part of everyone.
