LIAT employees continue to await word on their fate

LIAT employees here continue to await word on the fate of the cash-strapped regional carrier, as an administrator attempts to find a solution to the company’s woes.

Secretary General of the Waterfront and Allied Worker’s Union (WAWU) Kertiste Augustus tells Kairi News, the Administrator, Cleveland Seathorph, was given 120 days or four months to find a way to save LIAT, a month of which is already gone.

Augustus says WAWU, which represents Dominica’s LIAT workers, held a meeting with Seathorph, who has promised to take the worker’s issues into consideration.
