Legal Aid Reports Increase In Domestic Violence Cases
Director of Legal aid Peter Alleyne reports a spike in domestic violence cases during the covid-19 pandemic.
He says, the sudden increase in time spent in the household seems to have had an adverse effect on families in Dominica.
Alleyne went on to say, the legal aid clinic is seeking new areas to collaborate with stakeholders in the protection and assistance toward juveniles and the elderly.
