IsraAID has provided fifty face basins and faucets to the Ministry of Education, Human Resource Planning, Vocational Training, and National Excellence to aid in preparing primary schools in the Eastern and Southern districts for face-to-face sessions.
On the basis of necessity, these face basins and faucets will be placed in primary schools. In order to fight the spread of the Covid-19 virus in schools, these items will be posted in strategic places across the school to encourage hand washing and appropriate hygiene. Additionally, IsraAID created and will print kid-friendly hand washing posters to be placed near the face basins.
According to a release, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education Mrs. Chandler Hyacinth, commended IsraAID for their continuing support of education and gratefully received the donation, saying that it was timely and beneficial as the Ministry prepares for partial face-to-face lessons in schools.
