International Women’s Day – Ministry of Social Services P.S Helen Royer Remarks

Permanent secretary in the Ministry of Social Services Helen Royer says International Women’s Day 2018 should be used as a day to reflect on the progress already made and call for change and to celebrate acts of courage and determination by ordinary women who have played an extra ordinary role in their history, country and communities.

She was speaking at a special ceremony to observe international women day today under the theme: Rural and Urban Activists, Transforming Women’s lives.
