The Insurance Company of the West Indies Dominica (ICWI) held its first scholarship presentation ceremony on Wednesday, where two students were awarded secondary school scholarships.
Dinari Samuel, one of the top five performers at the Grade Six National Assessment this year, and Orlando Birmingham were the recipients.
Both attended the St. Mary’s Primary School, and will be moving on to the St. Mary’s Academy.
Earl Edwards is the Country Manager of ICWI.
Edward says recipients of the scholarship must consider themselves part of ICWI’s history. He encouraged them to do well at school.
