Housing Minister Has Credited Vast Improvement of Housing Sector to Prime Minister
Housing Minister Reginald Austrie is satisfied with the level of work done by the Roosevelt Skerrit administration in addressing the housing needs of the people of Dominica following Hurricane Maria.
Mr. Austrie says about 90 percent of the houses were either retrofitted or rebuilt by the DLP administration and that was done in a resilient manner in an effort to resist the impact of severe weather.
He was giving an update on his constituency on ‘Riding the Storms’ on KairiFM Monday.
He says there are hurricane shelters from Capuchin to Lagoon, Portsmouth to house persons who have to move should a hurricane strike.
