Grenada-based High court Judge Raulston Glasgow will today deliver his decision in a 2019 election matter brought by the United Workers Party.
The UWP has challenged election results in 10 constituencies won by the Dominica Labour Party in December 2019.
Senior Council Anthony Astaphan who leads the case for the DLP, DBS radio and the Chief Elections Officer, argued that the election petition was not put forward in the designated time frame according to the Elections Act.
The UWP is represented by Zahidha James who argued that there were several instances of bribery and treating during the election and that DBS was biased and did not act fairly in its coverage of several political events.
