Health Officials urge strict adherence to protocols as the country’s borders open to visitors
Dominica is today opening its borders to visitors and health officials have urged adherence to strict protocols to prevent the further spread of COVID-19 here.
In a phased approach, nationals were allowed home from June 15. From today, others wishing to access the island will be allowed entry.
Coordinator of the Health Promotion Unit Mignon Rolle-Shillingford has restated pre-arrival protocols designed to minimize the risk of infection.
She stresses that a PCR test is mandatory.
Rolle- Shillingford says persons travelling to Dominica must also complete an online health screening questionnaire, 24 hours before arrival.
